Permissions on Mac OS X

If you are running Mac OS X, you might be automatically prompted to let iamhomer control applications like your browser. You should only see this prompt once for each application that requires it. Without these permissions iamhomer cannot properly capture usage statistics.

How can I enable permissions?

1. After the first startup you might see a few dialogs like this. Click on “OK”.Permissions - Step 1 - Control required

2. You can add later these permissions to iamhomer by opening “System Preferences” > “Security & Privacy”.

Permissions - Step 2 - System Preferences

3. Select “Automation” the left pane and enable all the permission checkboxes under iamhomer.

That’s all! Now iamhomer collects data! Still having problems? Contact our support team!
